The Dangers of Chlorine in Drinking Water

The addition of chlorine in drinking water was introduced in the early 1900's to eradicate water-borne diseases like cholera and typhoid .Although chlorine is effective in eradicating these water-borne diseases it has produced a large number of other problems. In other words we got rid of one problem only to create others. The latest problem occurred towards the end of the 1990's when there were several types of drugs found in drinking water.
